Be sure to do some research before heading of to one of the local beaches, some have facilities, others have none !
Mill Bay beach is a sheltered, sandy beach located on the east side of the Salcombe estuary in Devon, opposite Salcombe. It's accessible by a short passenger ferry from Salcombe, or by driving to East Portlemouth via a longer route. The beach is dog-friendly all year, popular with families, and offers rock pools to explore at low tide, along with National Trust facilities nearby like toilets and a cafe.
